Our Other Animals

Our Military McCaw
Monty – the boy who laid eggs (so it turns out she is really a girl)

Our Shire Horses
The beautiful and very majestic Timmy and Mandy

Our Pet Texels
Connie, Bonnie, Clyde, Diva and Rosie
Our small flock of ex-cade lambs who are now having lambs of their own

Our Crazy Goats
Poppy and Meghan. Having successfully had kids, Poppy and Meghan were sold to a farmer in Bourne who wanted to keep them with his calves. Two years later he decided he no longer wanted them and I brought them home. Unfortunately, they were in a terrible state having been left feeding kids with no increase in their feed. They were like skeletons and their feet were badly overgrown. They are slowly recovering and happy to be home.
In August 2024 I bought a young male guernsey goat called Stevie. Stevie is very tame and loves to go for walks with us but is a bit of a pest with the girls. Will babies follow?

Our Muscovie Ducks
Mandrake and his harem

Our Chickens
Apache and his flock of assorted breed ladies

Our Turkeys
Duke the Royal Palm Stag and his family of rare breed girls

Our Call Ducks
Muddy and Puddle with their noisy family

Our Cayuga Ducks
Dobby and his lady

Our Cats
Popcorn and Peanut. Unlikely-looking sisters, Mum was a Domestic Shorthair and dad a Ragdoll. Popcorn is a daddies girl and peanut resembles her mother. Both are trouble with a capital T but very affectionate and beautiful.
